Pushing Through explores the raw force of perseverance — the act of moving forward despite resistance. Bursts of red and ochre surge like fire, clashing in layered jagged strokes, while soft hints of pink and blue break through the chaos and provide the viewer with some relief. This painting was created by Anne Ashton Daley in two meditative sessions and assists the viewer in pushing through resistance and blockages to access their inner peace. This work is part of an ongoing series, "Portals," in which each piece is created as a channel for energy and intention. Oil on canvas; 20"x20".
